Find the survey here.
This year, Edinbop is running our big survey. We put out a survey every two years to canvass your opinions on all aspects of how we run – including the weekly lessons (Blues, Balboa, and Lindy Hop), the socials, our teachers, our DJs, weekend events, and much more.
It is really important to us as a committee that we get your feedback. We take your responses into account while planning and running the next two years of dancing. After all, we work for YOU and want to make sure you get what you want/need out of coming along to our lessons and events.
There’s an option to go through the survey just clicking buttons, and this should take no longer than 5 minutes (less if you don’t do all three styles of dance). We have also included several text responses, and it would be fantastic if we received some candid opinions from you regarding the various aspects of Edinbop. If you do wish to comment, it shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes to complete the whole survey.
The survey is totally anonymous, but is vital in dictating how we progress for the next two years. If you have any issues filling the survey in (including making the survey more accessible), please let us know and we can try to resolve any problems.

For the whole month of June we are going to be mixing it up in the Monday Balboa slot with an array of taster classes exploring Bal’s closest dance relatives.
On the 4th June we will be slowing it way down to do some Laminu with Jamie and Katie, of EUSDS fame will be guiding us through this close hold dance.
On the 11th June we will be kicking it up a notch with Becca and Adam putting us through our paces in St. Louis Shag.
On the 18th June, Finn and Christine will be giving us a crash course in Peabody (hopefully featuring no actual crashes).
And on 25th June, Jamie and Katie will be back to introduce us to Bal-trot (at 7pm) and Swing Walk (at 8pm). Please note, some experience of balboa basics and come-arounds is recommended for Bal-trot, but no experience required for Swing Walk!
Each will be a two hour class (7-9pm) at our usual venue (Boteco do Brasil), followed by an hour of social dancing with a mix of music. As usual, no partner or experience required (except for Bal-trot), but bring your friends anyway.
